Indoor Engagement Photos at The Rabbit Hole

If you guys follow our work you know we don’t shoot many indoor engagement photos. We love being outside, in a park, the woods, anywhere in nature. But, when Morgan + Luke flew in from out of state for their engagement session (among other wedding planning tasks) it was the middle of January on a day that was 30 degrees and rainy. Clearly, the photos had to take place inside. Morgan had also mentioned how she wanted a cozy yet fancy location, such as a restaurant. As well as one that both of them could feel comfortable in because they weren’t overly excited about being in front of the camera. So, where could we go for indoor engagement photos on a Saturday that wouldn’t be too crowded? The Rabbit Hole was the perfect spot. With a full bar, the best drinks, an upscale loungey atmosphere, and floor to ceiling windows flooding the space with natural light, it was the perfect rainy indoor engagement session location. The staff was more than accommodating & the company was even better. I had so much fun getting to know Morgan + Luke and giving them a mini date night in Louisville for their engagement session.

If you’re planning your engagement session – talk to your photographer about what you’re envisioning and what’s most important to you – collaborating is key to give you an amazing experience as well as, of course, photos. 🙂
