314 Exchange Pewee Valley Kentucky Wedding

Pewee Valley, Kentucky is a quiet suburb community just outside the big lights of Louisville. If you’re looking for a unique wedding venue location, with over a century of history and character, coupled with an urban feel, 314 Exchange in Pewee Valley is a great place to check out! Some of the key features that make this venue so great are exposed brick walls, wood floors, high ceilings, tons of window light, private rooms upstairs for getting ready, and lastly, a cool lawn area perfect for a tent reception! The venue also backs up to Pewee Valley central park with its large greenscapes and white gazebo which can be reserved and used as a ceremony location as seen in Hannah and Jordan’s wedding below . . .

Jordan and Hannah are too cool for school. Their wedding was completely them, everything was intentional and uninfluenced by any preconceived expectations. When we arrived at 314 Exchange the family was all hustling to get the last minute preparations done. Seeing loved ones work their butts off for the couple shines a light on relationships and how blessed we are to have ones that love us in our lives. Jordan and Hannah took time to have a first look + take some portraits together before the day started moving too fast. The ceremony took place under the gazebo at Pewee Valley central park which sits just steps behind the reception venue. Family and friends watched Jordan and Hannah make a promise to each other, and therefore become husband and wife. There were laughs, tears, and cheers that followed as everyone made their way to the reception for food and festivities. The couple decided to forego the traditional dancing and partying typical of receptions, and set up a backyard hangout affair complete with games, music, and the best popsicles in town! (steel city pops – coconut is our favorite) The evening wound down, everyone wished Jordan and Hannah their best, and sent them off with a hooray!!
